Synopsis
In this classic greek myth of mother Demeter and daughter Persephone, seasons change in this experimental short film portrayed by flowers. Following the unexpected loss of their grandfather, twin sisters and filmmakers Angie and Tracey Richard deliver an emotional portrayal of grief
and adjusting to changes by using their late grandfather’s funeral flower arrangements.

Tracey Richard
Based in Moncton, Tracey is a multidisciplinary musician and artist. She also directs
experimental shorts with her twin sister. Her work has been presented to several
festivals in Moncton and she has performed at several music festivals and halls in the Maritimes
with her group Nebullama. She is also very active as a multimedia artist with the collective
HAT. Her background includes a bachelor's degree in classical music and psychology studies,
photography, media art and religious sciences.

Cap-Pelé’s native, Angie Richard obtained her Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the Moncton University in 2013 with two specialties: photography and painting. Multidisciplinary artist, she is interested in media arts and creates multimedia installations and visual projections for music performances and festivals.
