Synopsis
While Sam relieves herself behind a building, she finds a key on the ground in front of her. Despite her difficulty in discerning reality, she still follows objectives that help her survive.

Mélanie Léger writes for theater, television and film, in addition to working as a director and actress. Her short film Emma, made by NFB-Acadie, won the TV5 award at Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois 2014. In 2016, she wrote the web series Les déchets (Fonds TV5) and a documentary series Jeune et franco (Bellefeuille Production). She always juggles with various fiction projects and many other beautiful dreams.

Émilie Peltier is from Lyon (France). After living in several countries, she arrived in New Brunswick in 2012. Émilie works in the cultural sector and with community-based organizations, while living according to her usual leitmotif: observing life around her and exploring senses and arts. She participated in the Media Arts component of the International Festival of Francophone Cinema in Acadia on several occasions, and in 2018, screenwriter Mélanie Léger and her decided to co-direct their first short film: 54 NORTH.
