Synopsis
A documentary that follows three chefs who are changing the world, with sharp knives, one dish at a time. Kim Côté, Colombe Saint-Pierre and Pierre-Olivier Ferry are out of the ordinary culinary artists who go off the beaten path to create a cuisine with an identity inspired by the territory.
Direction
Nicolas Paquet
In 2011, Nicolas Paquet directs his first documentary feature film La règle d’or. It is followed by the feature films Ceux comme la terre and Esprit de cantine, as well as the short film Les sucriers, which were shown in various festivals in Canada and foreign countries. In his creations, Nicolas Paquet expresses through images his thoughts and questions about the community, the countryside, loss and injustice. On the same note, he completed, in 2016, a master in political philosophy on the question of the indigenous resurgence. He is cofounder of franC doc, a production house rooted in Saint-Alexandre de Kamouraska, in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region.
