Synopsis
RUST is an experimental essay exploring the physical and sensory imprint of the bodies and their memory. Dancers Tom Weksler (Israel) and Julia-Maude Cloutier (Canada), engaged in a relationship trough their touch, explore the texture of time by confronting a constantly imminent loss and imbalance.

Bachelor of Visual Arts and Media, Josiane Roberge strolls between video installation, video design for theater and directing. It seeks to render material the states of being unfold in all human relationships and to develop spaces in which the participant and the viewer reveal the potential of a certain humanity. She has been involved for some years in the group Les Incomplètes and was also part of the collective Urgence initiated by Spira. In 2015, she is a finalist for the Videre Prize, Relève en arts visuels for her exhibition La Prière. Her works have been presented in Quebec and France.

Julia-Maude Cloutier
Julia-Maude Cloutier is a choreographer and performer in contemporary dance based in Quebec City. She advocates multidisciplinary collaborations and in situ performances. For some years, she has been influenced by the camera’s eye that transforms her vision of dance by opening new creative possibilities on stage and on the big screen as well. She is also co-founder of the CRue collective with Amélie Gagnon.
