After studying filmmaking at L'inis, Sophie won the Desjardins Radio-Canada Scholarship to shoot in Belgium the documentary Dimanche, nous verrons. With Privé, she won the jury prize at the 12th edition of the documentary festival in Abitibi. As part of the festivities of Montreal's 375th, she co-directed Aspirations, a short film produced by Montreal Arts Colleges' Association.
