Synopsis
In the early 2000s, following her return from a long stay abroad, Amélie invites her friends, Maude and Pascale to a cottage. In a disturbing and isolated forest, Amélie tries to reconnect with her friend Maude, while the rivalry between her and Pascale takes a dark turn.

Marie Davignon is a multitalented cinematographer, director and screenwriter from Montreal. She graduated in cinema at the University of Quebec in Montreal in 2007 and has been working as a cinematographer ever since, (Among others: A delusion of grandeur by Vincent Biron, Struggle by Sophie Dupuis, All that we make by Annie St-Pierre and Sashinka by Kristina Wagenbauer). Guided by her passion to tell stories with images, she wrote and directed the short film Girlfriends during the summer of 2017. Marie now shares her time between her personal projects as a director, screenwriter and her career as a cinematographer.
