Reinventing D'Youville
Our student neighbours from the School of Architecture at Université Laval have once again accepted the challenge of designing (and dreaming up!) a special Place d’Youville for the QCFF. The request this year: Design a space that is inviting, simple, and easy to install and to store.
Thanks to the openness of the department staff and directors, not to mention the generosity of the participants, we were able to consider various possibilities to create a public space with an event context.
Congratulations to Maxime Champagne, Émilie Sirard and Shany Vallières for their design entitled Lisière Tactile, which won the grant awarded by the Festival and thank you to all the artisans-artists who helped us with their talent.
