A Tribute to Danielle Ouimet

Danielle ouimet

Excerpt

With a career that spans over 50 years, Danielle Ouimet has always been a familiar face to audiences, on both the big screen and TV. The QCFF decided to celebrate this golden anniversary by paying homage to her with a presentation of 3 of her most memorable films. It all starts with the official release of the restored version of a classic of Québec cinematography, Valérie (1969), a landmark film of a time when the chimes of freedom rang loud! It continues with the presentation of the film in which she plays her first international role, Les lèvres rouges (Daughters of Darkness) (1971). To complete the loop, we will present Les signes vitaux (2010), her last appearance in a feature film up to now.

Don’t miss this chance to see this great lady of film and watch the films that made her famous!
