Run, Forrest, run...to Place d'Youville!

Once again this year, Place d'Youville will be animated around the clock!

Classic and slapstick comedy amateurs will be pleased to see a film program that will be sure to bring back memories. 

You will get to see, among others, Free Solo, Forrest Gump, Les demoiselles de Rochefort and Austin Powers. 

During the day, crucial short films, favorites of the QCFF for many years now, will be shown non stop on the outdoors screen.

Advantages of the CinePasse!

As soon as June 28th, you can get your CinePasse for QCFF 2019!

CinePasses are easy and efficient. Newbies, we will explain the basics. Experienced QCFFists, we'll refresh your memory.  

You can use your CinePasse to book a ticket for the number of screenings that allows your Cinepasse. When you have booked and seen the allowed number of screenings (5, 7 or unlimited), you will have the possibility of showing up to other screenings and wait in the Blue line. If the venue is not full, you can see the film. Please note that your place will not be guaranteed.

First SODEC networking event at FCVQ 2019

The SODEC announced today that from now on, to submit a project, screenwriters and directors will have to be represented by a producing company. To foster the bond between professionals, the program will organize networking opportunities before deadlines, such as social meetings and expert classes. 

The QCFF is proud to welcome the first networking activity, which will take place on September 13th 2019.

Nearly $ 100,000 for the winning short film at FCVQ

For the second year in a row, patrons of film  have come together to offer the most extraordinary creative grant ever. This group of artists and cultural enterprises will give the winning filmmaker of the National Competition - Short Films at the QCFF close to $100,000 in creative services.
